Moves

  • Mailboxes, with signatures, tags and daily limits
  • Block list, as suppressions
  • Campaigns with steps, A/B variants, schedule and settings
  • Each campaign's leads, with custom variables, sequence progress and interest stage
  • Unsubscribes and bounces, onto your suppression list
  • Full conversations, so later replies land in the same thread
  • Lead lists

Stays in Instantly

  • Warmup history (warmup status and health scores are carried over with each mailbox)
  • Unibox emails Instantly's API does not return
  • Campaign analytics and reports
  • Webhooks and integrations
  • Workspace members and roles

Mailbox sign-ins do not come with the mailboxes: reconnect the ones the import lists in Email Accounts and each takes over its imported record. Nothing arrives running: active campaigns arrive paused, drafts and finished ones as they were. Subsequences are listed under Things to review.

Moves

  • Mailboxes, with SMTP ones connected and checked against the mail server
  • Campaigns with steps, A/B variants, schedule and settings
  • Each campaign's leads, with custom fields, sequence progress and category
  • Unsubscribes, onto your suppression list
  • Full conversations, so later replies land in the same thread
  • Your wider lead list

Stays in Smartlead

  • Warmup history (the warmup on/off setting is carried over)
  • Global block list (export it from Smartlead and add it under Suppression)
  • Campaign analytics and reports
  • Webhooks
  • Client and sub-account structure
  • Custom tracking domains
  • Scheduled sends not yet delivered

Google and Microsoft sign-ins need reconnecting. Safe to run again: campaigns, steps and settings already imported are reused, not duplicated, and only new leads and conversations are added.

Fuzegenai is the cold layer next to your newsletter, not a replacement for it. Keep MailerLite for the newsletter; send cold email from a separate domain.

Why cold email needs its own domain

How the move works.

Four steps. The import itself runs without you.

The full guide: importing from Instantly, Smartlead and MailerLite.

  1. 1

    Paste your API key

Create a key in your old tool. Add it in Fuzegenai.

  2. 2

    Let the import run

Watch its progress, or close the tab.

  3. 3

    Connect your mailboxes

Sending needs each mailbox connected, for DNS checks and warmup.

  4. 4

    Review, then launch

Check each campaign and its sequence. Choose its mailboxes. Start it.

What is different once you have moved.

How deliverability works
Deliverability is in the product
Warmup, DNS checks, reputation and sending are one system. Sending knows what warmup knows.
Every send is accounted for
Each email records its mailbox, its spam score and the mailbox's state.
It reacts before you have to
A slipping mailbox sends less, then pauses. Emails that score as spam are held.
One inbox for every mailbox
Replies are collected every 30 seconds and labelled by intent.

Switching, answered plainly.

What exactly gets imported from Instantly?
Your mailboxes, your campaigns with their sequences, schedules and settings, and the leads in each campaign. The import works through those in that order.
What gets imported from Smartlead?
Your campaigns and the leads in them, along with your wider lead list. You can run the import again later: campaigns that were already imported are reused rather than duplicated.
I use MailerLite for a newsletter. What does Fuzegenai replace?
Nothing on the newsletter side. Fuzegenai is the cold-email layer next to your newsletter, not a replacement for it. The import brings your groups over as lead lists with their active subscribers, and Fuzegenai sends cold sequences with warmup, DNS checks and one inbox for replies. Keep MailerLite for the newsletter, and send cold email from a separate domain so the two reputations stay apart.
How do I connect my old account?
With an API key from the tool you are leaving. You paste it into Fuzegenai, the import runs in the background, and you can watch its progress. You can disconnect the key afterwards.
Does my warmup history come with me?
No. Reputation built inside another tool's warmup network does not transfer, so Fuzegenai warms each mailbox itself once you connect it. Your domain's own sending history with mailbox providers is unaffected by the move.
Will my campaigns start sending as soon as they are imported?
Review each imported campaign before you launch it. Sending also needs each mailbox connected to Fuzegenai, so that its DNS can be checked and it can be warmed up first.
Can I try the import during the trial?
Yes. The 14-day trial does not need a credit card. It runs with lower limits than the paid plans, so a large account is best imported once you are on a plan that fits it.
