Upgrade, cancel and download invoices

Where billing lives, who can change it, and what happens when you cancel.

By Fuzegenai TeamLast updated

Billing lives under Billing & Usage in the account menu at the top right of the dashboard. The workspace owner subscribes, changes plan, cancels and downloads invoices there. Payment runs through Stripe.

Who can manage billing

Only the workspace owner can change the plan, the payment method or the billing details. Other roles see a read-only view of the plan and usage, with the note "Billing is managed by the organization owner."

Subscribe to a plan

  1. Open the account menu and select Billing & Usage. During the trial, the Upgrade button in the header goes to the same page.
  2. Select Choose a plan to jump to the plan cards.
  3. Pick Monthly or Yearly. Yearly is charged once a year and works out cheaper per month.
  4. On the plan you want, select Subscribe.
  5. Pay on the Stripe checkout page. You are returned to the billing page, which confirms the subscription is active.

What each plan includes is covered in plans and the free trial.

Change plan

  1. On the billing page, select Change plan.
  2. On the plan you want, select Switch Plan.
  3. The Change plan to dialog shows the prorated Immediate adjustment and the amount at your next renewal.
  4. Select Confirm plan change. The change applies immediately.

Payment method and billing details

  • Under Payment method, select Add payment method to save a card. Use Set as default to choose which card is charged, and Remove to delete one.
  • Under Billing details, set the name, email and address that appear on your invoices.
  • Upcoming invoice previews your next charge.

Find your invoices

The Invoices card lists your billing history. Select View to open an invoice in the browser, or PDF to download it. Until there is an invoice, the card shows No invoices yet.

Cancel your subscription

  1. On the billing page, select Downgrade to Free in the plan panel.
  2. In the Cancel Subscription dialog, select Yes, Downgrade to Free. Select Keep My Plan to back out.

Cancelling this way takes effect immediately. It does not wait for the end of the billing period. The subscription is cancelled in Stripe, the account moves to the Free plan and the paid limits stop applying. If your 14-day trial has already ended, the workspace is locked until the owner subscribes again.

If you have questions about timing, email priority@fuzegenai.com before you cancel.

If the page says your subscription is set to cancel

A subscription that has been set to end at the close of the period shows Your subscription is set to cancel, with the end date. Select Resume subscription to keep it active.

If a payment fails

The plan panel shows Past due with the note "The last payment failed. Update the payment method to keep sending." Update the card under Payment method. Paid features stay available for 14 days while the invoice is unpaid, and we send reminder emails during that time. If the invoice is still unpaid after 30 days, the subscription is cancelled automatically.

Delete your account

Deleting an account is separate from cancelling a plan. It is done from your profile settings, with Delete my account.
